Canva Pro Design Expert (Part-Time or Contract)

Reporting To: Project Manager
Location: Fully Remote
Pay: $18-$25+/Hour (Based on Experience) / Contract Work Is Also Available
Employment Type: Part Time / Contract
Job Role: You are responsible for assisting our design team in creating professional grade designs, reports, templates, and more for clients and for internal company usage on the Canva Pro platform. You will need to have a good design sense, understand correct sizing and file types, and know how to work the Canva platform.

Key Skills:

  • Proficiency with Canva Pro and its advanced features (Brand Kits, Magic Resize, Content Planner, etc.)
  • Strong eye for design principles: layout, color theory, typography, and visual hierarchy
  • Ability to design for both digital and print formats
  • Solid understanding of correct sizing, file types, and export settings
  • Creative thinking and ability to translate concepts into visuals
  • Familiarity with brand consistency and visual identity application
  • Time management and ability to work within deadlines

Minor Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of other design platforms like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or Figma (a plus)
  • Understanding of copy placement and content flow in design
  • Light experience with motion graphics or Canva video tools (bonus)
  • Familiarity with accessibility in design (readability, contrast, etc.)

Requirements:

  • Proven experience using Canva Pro in a professional or agency setting (No degree required)
  • Portfolio showcasing Canva-based designs
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
  • Strong communication skills – ability to understand project briefs and explain design choices
  • Self-starter who can manage tasks independently and proactively

Work Schedule: This is a flexible position and is dependent on project needs. You are capable of setting your own work schedule, however you are required to be contactable during business hours (M-F 8am-6pm). Projects will be assigned with clear timelines, and we expect timely communication and efficient turnaround.
