WordPress Website Developer (Part Time)

Reporting To: Senior Website Developer
Location: Fully Remote
Pay: $20-$30+/Hour (Based on Experience) / Pay Per Contract Is Also Available
Employment Type: Part Time / Contract
Job Role: You will work on various website projects, including theme customization, plugin integration, troubleshooting, and optimizing website performance. You will assist the Senior Developer on completing various website projects.

Key Skills:

  • Develop, design, and maintain WordPress websites for clients.
  • Customize themes and templates to align with brand identity.
  • Implement and configure plugins to enhance website functionality.
  • Ensure responsive and mobile-friendly designs.
  • Optimize website performance, speed, and security.
  • Troubleshoot and fix website issues or bugs.
  • Work with content management and SEO best practices.
  • Communicate project updates and deliver on deadlines.

Minor Skills:

  • Website Design
  • Experience with Canva or Photoshop for minor graphic edits (a plus)
  • General Copy Writing
  • Experience Utilizing Ai Systems

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in WordPress website development.
  • 1+ years of experience using Elementor and similar page builders
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and basic website security.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and debug website errors efficiently.

Work Schedule: 

  • Flexible schedule, but availability during business hours (M-F, 8 AM - 6 PM) for communication.
  • Projects will be assigned with clear deadlines.
  • Must be responsive and capable of delivering work within set timeframes.
